As part of the School of Social Sciences Widening Participation agenda, six formers from London schools took part in a week of activities in October 2014. Stephen Robertson, the chief executive of the Big Issue Foundation, came in to talk to students about the challenges of living on the street, and the hope offered through selling the Big Issue. The group then developed a presentation on how to address homelessness in London.
