Cass group wins top prize at UK's leading student photography showcase

As well as claiming the prize as part of The Cass collective student Angela Blažanović claims top individual prize.

A collective of Photography BA students from The Cass at London Met has seen off competition from more than thirty other universities to claim first prize in week two of the UK's largest annual student photography and art showcase, Free Range.
 
Angela Blažanović, Alsy Mutshipashi, Lene Terland, Giulia Simonotti, Caroline Quinn, Elle Godfree, Enrica Italiano, Ali Raza and Evelina Sarupiciute success means The Cass now has 50 square feet of free exhibition space for 2020 at Truman Brewery.
 
There was also individual success for Angela Blažanović who won the first prize as the best exhibitor at Free Range. Angela, whose work was named among the Guardian newspaper's favourites before the show, wins a solo exhibition at the Truman Brewery in 2020, mentorship from Metro Imaging and the Free Range Awards judges, £1000 print and production voucher, and a £1000 bursary from Free Range.
