Direct loan entrance counselling
Each time you borrow a federal loan at London Met University, you must complete an online entrance counselling session on the FSA website. Even if you have completed entrance counselling at a previous school, you must still do another entrance counselling session for each federal loan from London Metropolitan University.
In order to initiate your loan application, please complete entrance counselling and ensure that you print a screenshot of your entrance counselling completion certificate. This should then be included in your direct loan application pack.
Grad PLUS direct loan entrance counselling
Grad PLUS entrance counselling is required for first-time graduate and professional student borrowers and must be completed before the grad PLUS funds can be disbursed. The entrance counselling session provides information regarding monthly repayment amounts and the average indebtedness of graduate or professional grad PLUS loan borrowers. The entrance counselling session also explains the use of the Master Promissory Note (MPN) with emphasis on the seriousness and importance of the repayment obligation and describes the consequences of default.
