Countries that the University received donations from since 2010

Request

Dear Vice Chancellor,

Please regard this as a formal Freedom of Information request.

1)  Can the University inform me from what countries it has received donations from since 2010? Furthermore, were these donations ongoing or a one-off?

2) Out of all these donations:

i) How many came from sources linked to the state’s government or its charitable/investment authorities?

ii) How many came from NGOs and what were the names of the NGOs?

iii) How many have come from other non-EU organisations, including beneficiaries, and what is the nature of these organisations?

3) What were these donations used for? For example, were they used to create a new department, fellowship, or fund a department, and to what amounts in each year?

4) What are the largest monetary donations that the University has received from non-EU sources? Please separate these donations by the country they originated from.

I look forward to receiving your response.

Best wishes,

Response
