Incidence of knife crime

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing to make an request for information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. 

I would like to request the following information:
  • The number of students penalised for any wrongdoing relating to knives, e.g. knife crime, bringing a weapon onto campus, each year for the past 5 years. 
  • For each case could I also have the outcome, e.g. suspension, permanent exclusion. 
  • For each case could I also have details of whether the issue was escalated to the police.
I would like the above information to be provided to me in an email to _.
 
If the release of any of this information is prohibited on the grounds of breach of confidence, I ask that you supply me with copies of the confidentiality agreement and remind you that information should not be treated as confidential if such an agreement has not been signed.
 
I understand that you are required to respond to my request within the 20 working days after you receive this letter. I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request.

I write further to your request for information dated 10 April 2019.  This request has been handled by the University in accordance with its duties and obligations under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 ("FOIA"). 
 
You requested details of:

The remainder of your request is refused under s.40(2) FOIA. The figures provided are so small, to provide any further information risks the possibility the individual could be identified.
