Angela Paradise

Angela Paradise commenced as a co-opted member of the People, Finance and Resources Committee in June 2026.

Angela Paradise is a board-level HR Director with over 25 years' experience as a senior HR business partner and strategic advisor to CEOs, Boards and executive leadership teams across large, complex, global organisations, including extensive experience within regulated financial services.

She has led HR strategy and transformation for organisations including Railpen, UK Research & Innovation, British Standards Institution and Brunswick Group, with a focus on organisational design, workforce planning, governance and large-scale change. Her career spans financial and pensions services, healthcare, higher education and the public sector, including two engagements as HR Director at Cambridge University.

Angela holds an MA in Strategic HR & Change, an LLM in Business Law, and an M.Phil from the University of Cambridge, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD). She brings further non-executive experience, including roles with St Mungo's Broadway and Notting Hill Housing Trust, and joins the People and Finance Committee with a strong track record of governance and organisational transformation gained across regulated, multi-stakeholder institutions.
