Pansy McFarlane-Edmond is a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Studies at London Metropolitan University. She teaches across both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. She has over 40 years experience working within the Early Years Field. 21 years have included management and strategic leadership positions within the private sector, local authorities, education and the NHS in a variety of settings (Nursery Class, Day Nurseries, Children and Families LA, a Sure Start Local Programme and Children Centres).
During her years at London Metropolitan University Pansy has held numerous additional roles and responsibilities including Departmental Safety Liaison Officer, Academic Liaison Tutor (working in partnership with Colleges in the United Kingdom and abroad) and has been an External Examiner for a University and Collage outside of London.
