Janette Harris

Janette Harris completed a degree in 3D metals and Design in 1986 at West Surrey College of Art and Design, joining Tetra and then Andrew Ingham and Associates, working up to the position of Project Manager. Janette worked with some of the most renowned architects, designers and artists in the world, designing and manufacturing highly crafted projects, pushing boundaries of haptic and new digital manufacturing skills. Janette joined the School of Art, Architecture and Design in 2005 as a Senior Lecturer within the Interior Design BA Course, developing students’ research outcomes into concepts through to 2D and 3D spatial outcomes.

Janette’s research interests are the investigation of institual spaces, gaps in the environment, linked to social and cultural environments.
