Immy is the Policy and Charter Officer within the Centre for Equity and Inclusion. She works on London Met's EDI charter marks including Athena Swan, Race Equality Charter, Stonewall Proud Employers, and Disability Confident. Immy also coordinates the EEDI Committee and many of the sub-committees 

Prior to joining the Centre, Immy worked in widening participation at the University of Reading, where she was the project manager an attainment-raising intervention targeted at KS4 students eligible for free school meals, of Black heritage and living in IMD Quintile 1 postcodes. Immy also led anti-racism initiatives with the Race Equity Staff Network and graduated from Advance HE’s Diversifying Leadership Programme in 2024. 

Having grown up in a low-income household and single-parent family, Immy is proud to be from a working-class background and mixed race, which feeds into her professional interests in EDI and education. In her free time, Immy is a trustee of a national music charity. She is also interested in languages, having previously studied French, German and Spanish. She is currently studying for Irish proficiency examinations with Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge, through which she has deepened her understanding of decolonisation. 

Immy read Music at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford and holds an MA in Popular Music Research from Goldsmiths University of London, where her research explored processes of mainstreaming in UK rap.
