Biography
Edith is a Senior Lecturer in Foundation and BA Primary Education at London Metropolitan University, supporting students across the Foundation Year Programme and BA Primary Education 2-Year Accelerated Course. With a background in Education, Social Work, Youth and Community Work, and related action research, she is passionate about helping students connect knowledge with what happens in real classrooms in preparation for placements and employment.
Edith is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued, encouraged and able to succeed. She enjoys learning alongside her students, valuing their experiences, ideas and perspectives, and helping them develop the confidence, knowledge and critical thinking skills needed to become inspiring and reflective educators.
