Dr Michael Harpham is an Emeritus Fellow in the School of Social Sciences and Professions.
Dr Michael Harpham brings over 30 years’ teaching experience and over 20 years’ SLT and Headteacher experience to the university. Outside the day job, Dr Harpham has over 12 years’ experience as a consultant, trainer, assessor and coach, completed a Doctorate on factors influencing SLT teamwork and is the author of 3 books: Progress Plain and Simple (2020); The School Leader’s Year (2021) and Teamwork Plain and Simple (2023). He is a Research Fellow with the University of Greenwich and Emeritus Fellow with London Metropolitan University. He is also an advisor to the Department for Education.
