Ignacio's academic record spans five universities and three countries. He has held multiple research positions and acquired a great deal of professional experiences over a long career in the electronics industry. He currently lecturers for our School of Computing and Digital Media.

Ignacio's current research interests include business development and single-band and multiband miniature antennas, as well as the use of Electromagnetic-Band Gap (EBG) structures and Frequency-Selective Surfaces (FSS).
He supervises and mentors graduate and postgraduate students and bids for grants. He contributes to the teaching, scientific, technological and business development of London Met by promoting and increasing branding, research and innovation.
