Who gets your vote in the Big Idea Challenge?

Twelve entrepreneurs have been shortlisted for the Big Idea Challenge – and you can now vote for your favourite.

Date: 22 April 2015

From a gadget to help babies sleep at night to an ethical fashion label, this year’s Big Idea Challenge has thrown up some brilliant business propositions.

Now, it’s time for the public to pick their favourite!

The Big Idea Challenge, run each year by London Met’s business incubator, Accelerator, has entered its next round, with 12 of the best ideas selected by the Accelerator team for a public vote.

All the aspiring entrepreneurs have undergone training to perfect their business plans and seal up any gaps in their strategies. All participants have spent weeks working out the details to make sure everything they propose can translate into an actual business – turning ideas into unshakable proposals.

Now, the 12 entrants have made a sixty second video clip for the public to watch before choosing the one that appeals the most. The videos competing for your vote are across all three categories of the competition – commercial, social impact and creative. This year, the Challenge also includes an extra staff category.

The overall winner will be chosen by an expert judging panel and announced at the Big Idea Challenge awards night on 30 April. The result of the public vote will also be revealed on the night.

There are great ideas across a variety of areas and industries, with something which will talk to everyone. You can see all the videos on Accelerator’s website - just make sure you vote for your favourite one by Wednesday 29 April.

Twelve videos – twelve bright ideas, the choice is yours!
