Date: 29.08.2014

Congratulations to Mafalda Vilhena, Kelly Alimiaga, Neringa Balaikaite, Folashade Soyinka, Debin Zou, Paulina Jedrzejowska and Edgaras Opolskas who have become the first BA HRM and BA HRM and Employment Law students in the Faculty of Business & Law to be awarded the CIPD’s Intermediate Level Diploma in addition to their degree award.

Human resource management team leader Dr Sue Shortland states “an added value and unique selling point of our BA HRM Honours Degree programme is that core modules delivered in years two and three are approved by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the professional body for HRM. Students who join the CIPD and achieve their University awards also gain the CIPD’s Intermediate Level Diploma and Associate Membership of the CIPD. This is fantastic for them in terms of aiding their employability.”
