Accelerator, London Metropolitan University’s specialist business incubator based in Shoreditch, has organised a Christmas Market to help entrepreneurs and students enhance their business skills.

The event, which follows last year’s successful market, will be held at Spitalfields Market on Saturday 13 December.

The market is a great opportunity for local businesses and entrepreneurs who would like to test, promote and sell their products at one of the busiest markets in London, as well as to gain some new and useful experience.

Attending businesses will get a chance to learn skills in merchandising, sales and display techniques. Taking part in the project is a perfect way of getting a feedback, earning some extra cash and sharing an entrepreneurial spirit within a friendly team.

Last year’s market included a wide range of business offering a huge number of products including crafted wooden items, handmade jewellery, fine art prints and even scented candles.

The students involved had the opportunity to engage with customers and received invaluable feedback which helped them to reflect on their business approaches.

They also attended a workshop to equip them with fundamental merchandising skills. You can read more about last year's market at the London Met Entrepreneurs’ website.
