Dr Nick Ridley, Senior Lecturer in Policing and Security, presented a paper at the International Crime Symposium for the 12th successive year.

Dr Nick Ridley, who lecturers in Policing and Security, was invited to present a paper at the International Economic Crime Symposium at Jesus College Cambridge in September 2017.
Dr Ridley’s paper focused on the various difficulties and challenges of international law enforcement co-operation against terrorist financing since the attacks of 9/11.
Speaking about the topic, Dr Ridley said: “Full and timely intelligence exchange between differing agencies is the absolute key to prevent the totally unforeseen and deadliest attacks.”
The annual International Economic Crime Symposium has over 200 delegates throughout seven days of workshops, panel discussions and closed sessions.
Delegates are from governments, international financial institutions, international law enforcement agencies, financial regulatory agencies and parliamentarians.
