Cass Fine Art students preview #9rooms work at Ramsgate pop-up in advance of MA Show
Prior to the MA Show launch on the 15 September students from the #9rooms project held a one night only preview at the "Leytonstone Centre for Contemporary art in Ramsgate",
The location is course leader Professor Bob and Roberta Smith's periodic exhibition space on the South Coast. Visitors to the exhibition were treated to a preview of a suite of political prints by Natalia Nikoulina and performances by Lucy Schofield and Seana Wilsom. Roger Clarke installed an ambitious sculptural intervention reminiscent of 1970s sci fi TV. Majcik Blasjewski premiered (for Thanet) new work.
#9Rooms acknowledges the need for individual space to create perspectives. Virginia Woolf provides a subtext to understand the unique qualities of the artists voice.
