Fashion designers of the future showcase their designs in third annual fashion show.
On 24 February The Cass held its third annual red carpet fashion show, Project Red, in the Atrium of Goulston Street.
Project Red highlights the work of first year Fashion BA students with a brilliant display of both visual and technical achievement – with the students only 16 weeks into their course.
The participating students began their collection just before Christmas with an intensive series of demonstrations, crits and workshops. These mixed with their wonderful ideas and determination to succeed has resulted in an energetic and vibrant start to their course at The Cass.
The students created outfits for womenswear and menswear with models sporting layers of flowing fabrics and silhouette-altering structured tailoring, alongside beautifully embroidered ruched and ruffled fabrics. With the predominant colour red there was a surprising variety of colour, texture and tone on show.
The Atrium held a two hundred-strong audience with VIPs from the University as well as luminaries from the industry and press, producing a fantastic event and brilliant start to the students' careers.
The Project Red fashion show is available to view on Periscope and you can keep up with the latest from Cass Fashion on Instagram.
