MA Fine Art students Jordanna Greaves and Ali Bahreini exhibit recent work in Cass Foyer Gallery.
The exhibiting artists are:
Ali was born in 1980 in Tehran, Iran. That same year, a war between Iran and Iraq started which took eight years. It was the longest and bloodiest conventional war of the twentieth century. This series of work relates to his childhood memories when it was advised that his family had to escape under a running shower to avoid getting poisoned by the chemical bombs of that time.
Jordanna was born in Wallingford, England in 1979. Her work investigates the psychological experience of systems and examines process, compliance, language, power and meaning. She also explores her personal experience and effects of the use of controversial pharmaceutical medication.
