Visible Light at Milan Design Week

Cass graduate Dessislava Madanska will be exhibiting at this year’s Milan Design Week.

Dessislava Madanska, who graduated in Product Design MA in 2016 from The Cass, will be exhibiting during Milan Design Week 2017 from 4 to 9 April.

Visible Light’ is a light object that uses colour and light to create a positive effect on the interior environment of the user. The colour-overlaid disks can be rotated to produce multiple colour compositions and aim to encourage interaction and playfulness.

‘Visible Light’ will be exhibited as part of Ventura Lambrate, which is one of the main shows during Milan Design Week, known for bringing young and experimental design to the city each year. Ventura Lambrate coincides with the Salone del Mobile trade fair in Milan and will be spread around several different locations in the Lambrate area of the city. A booklet containing a map and a full list of exhibitors is available to download.

Dessislava is the founder of the London based creative studio, onedesignspace and works across various artistic disciplines-including photography and graphic design. With an emphasis on detail, simplicity and minimalism, her work blends different design disciplines and brings together things, people and cultures.
