London Metropolitan University gets festive with Christmas market

This year’s Christmas market will be held in The Rocket and will have the theme of Winter Wonderland

Date: 14 December 2015

London Metropolitan University is hosting its very own Christmas market at the Rocket next week and will take the Winter Wonderland theme.

With over 100 students taking part this year, this is an event not to be missed on 15 December just in time for Christmas.

There will be an extensive range of festive delights on sale from homeware and jewellery to cakes and bakes.

As well as current students, there will be independent vendors, the Students’ Union and London Metropolitan University’s sports team selling their own Christmas goods.

Mulled wine and seasonal treats will be on offer in London Met’s very own Winter Wonderland.

There will be free entry for all staff, students and members of the public and the market will run from 12-8pm.

This will be an opportunity for staff and students to socialise as well as buy unique Christmas bargains for their loved ones.

The Christmas market is being done in conjunction with London Met’s Accelerator which offers students and alumni the chance to develop their business ideas with the appropriate network and spaces.

Based in Shoreditch, the Accelerator offers office space for students to develop their business plans.

You can view sneak peeks of what’s on offer at the Christmas markets on the Accelerator’s instagram page here.
