London Met lecturer awarded at International Computing Conference

Dr Vaissil Vassiley gave a keynote lecture at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Applications, where his research also won a prize.

Dr Vassil Vassilev from London Met’s School of Computing and Digital Media presented a keynote lecture at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Applications (ICAIA 2020), on the subject of AI on Demand through Hybridization and Containerization.

He also presented another paper on Intelligence Graphs for Threat Intelligence and Security Policy Validation of Cyber Systems, which was awarded Best Paper in the session on Machine Learning Applications in Cyber Security and Cryptography.

The paper, co-written with Viktor Sowinski-Mydlarz, Pawel Gasiorowski, Karim Ouazzane and Anthony Phipps, will be published by Springer in the series Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing.

ICAIA 2020 was held in Delhi, India, on 6-7 February 2020. The conference brings together researchers and developers from a wide variety of artificial intelligence and associated applications to present original research findings and exchange developmental ideas. The aim of the conference is to both promote translation of basic research into applied investigation and convert applied investigation into practice.
