Students from London Metropolitan University have won a prestigious RIBA President’s Medal for their innovative work in architecture.

The fourteen students from The Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design were awarded the Silver Medal for their SunBloc project, which saw them produce a proposal for an easy-to-make, low-carbon and inexpensive house.

Winning the prize, which is awarded by the prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), is a great achievement for the Part II students, and reflects the quality found in the School of Architecture at London Metropolitan University.
