HRM courses benefit from dedicated CIPD Adviser

Human Resource Management courses benefit from dedicated Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Professional Adviser and strong branch links

Date: 06.10.2014

Students undertaking human resource management (HRM) courses from the Faculty of Business and Law, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, benefit from the advice and support of our own dedicated Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) professional adviser, Dapo Coker.

Dapo will be speaking at the HRM postgraduate induction day on Thursday 25 September at 6pm to outline how students can upgrade their CIPD membership to Chartered status on completion of their MA HRM or PG Dip HRM. He will also explain the branch network at CIPD as well as our affiliation to the CIPD’s north London branch and its benefits.

We are extremely proud of our links with the CIPD. We are actively involved with the CIPD’s north London branch and members of the branch committee regularly come to speak to our students. For example, Yetunde Oladipo, a HRM graduate, will be speaking about the CIPD, its role and its benefits to members on Thursday 16 October, from 6pm to 7pm.

Branch events are open to our students and these provide opportunities to hear high profile speakers and to network with HR professionals – great for making contacts and finding out about HRM employment opportunities.

All our HRM courses are fully CIPD approved; the MA HRM and PG Dip HRM lead to the CIPD’s Advanced Level Diploma, while the BA HRM leads to the CIPD’s Intermediate Level Diploma.
