Date: 17/03/2015

Nick Adams, managing director of Sense London spoke to Event Marketing Management students at the Guildhall Faculty of Business and Law about his company’s work. Sense is a leading experiential marketing agency that works with major global brands such as Coca Cola, The Times and Sky to integrate live event experiences such as product demonstrations and Retail–tainment into wider marketing campaigns.

As part of the assessment for the module Event Experience Management, Nick is asking teams of students to use their knowledge and imagination and come up with a pitch and proposal for a live brand experience.

Nick commented “Opportunities to meet with students studying the exciting and diverse world which is events are rare, so it was a pleasure to speak this week at London Met. The group seemed energetic and engaged and myself and colleagues are really looking forward to hearing their thoughts on the challenge we set to respond to our brief. I’m sure we’ll be impressed. Good luck teams!”

Henrik Linden, senior lecturer in Creative Industries said: “Nick emphasised the importance of creativity and strategic thinking in events marketing, and this was a message that our students took to heart. Nick generously shared his insights with the group during a Q&A session after his talk, and we all came away from the presentation feeling inspired.”
