Guildhall Events students tour Bush House

MA Events Marketing Management students are shown around the newly refurbished Bush House

Date: 17/03/2015

London Guildhall Faculty of Business and Law MA Events Marketing Management students were shown round the recently refurbished Bush House (former home of the BBC World Service) when they visited the North Bank Business Improvement District (BID) in March.

The BID was set up in 2013 covering the area from Trafalgar Square in the west to the Royal Courts of Justice in the east. The BID is working to improve the public realm, animate the area through events, reduce crime and promote and market the area as a distinctive neighbourhood in the heart of London.

Megan Dixon, marketing and communications manager at BID, organised a presentation for the students in Somerset House outlining the development of their business strategy, branding operation and sustainability agenda. She then led a walk around the area pointing out the challenges and plans for BID and the plans for future initiatives. We plan for this link with BID to be the start of a lasting relationship with the University.
