Law lecturer works as expert for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime

Dr. John Jupp, from the School of Law, recently visited Kyrgyzstan working as an international expert for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
The training workshop was to “support victim of acts of terrorism and protection of human rights standards in line with national and international legal instruments and good practices”. Dr. John Jupp gave two fantastic presentations on good practice and services in support of victims of serious crime: Restorative Justice and Compensation and Victims of Acts of Terrorism: International Human Rights Standards.
