London Met is hosting a launch event for Just Met 2016, the annual anthology of student writing.
Students will be showcasing their writing talents on Monday 5 December at the launch of Just Met 2016, an anthology featuring shortlisted entries from this year’s university-wide Creative Writing competition.
At the event the five category will each receive an award of £200 from the Sandra Ashman prize fund, and the overall winner of the competition will be announced, receiving the coveted Vice-Chancellor's and a further prize of £200.
The winners of this year’s competition have been selected by author Michael Hughes. Alongside the prize-giving ceremony, the event will include a reading by Michael from his debut novel, The Countenance Divine.
Staff, students and alumni are warmly invited to attend the launch event and pick up a copy of the anthology.
Just Met 2016 launches on Monday 5 December at 6.30pm in the Henry Thomas Room, London Metropolitan University.
Tickets are free but must be reserved on Eventbrite.
