London Met Student Union host award ceremony

Guildhall Faculty of Business and Law would like to congratulate all the winners & nominees of the London Met Student Union awards.
The recent ceremony took place in the newly refurbished Great Hall and was attended by many. It was a perfect opportunity to congratulate so many nominees from The Guildhall, Anil Sinan, Aviation Society, Chahid Fourali, Fatima Adil, Joelle Moko, Lisa Day, Mischa Allen, Nick Wong and Ron Cambridge.
We were able to celebrate with our winners; Mike Meehan for outstanding lecturer, Washington Mhamgami for outstanding Personal Academic Tutor, Shaida Parvin for outstanding member of support staff.
Washington Mhamgami said “Getting nominated was a pleasant surprise and winning an award was the icing on the cake. I would like to thank the students for their cooperation and my faculty colleagues for their support.”
Shaida Parvin added “This is a team award. I would like to thank whoever nominated me for the Outstanding Member of Support Staff of the Year award, as a graduate intern I really wasn't expecting anything like this…but I am very honoured and happy that I was chosen and won this award.”
