#AskAlumni

A new online Q&A session is set to launch where anyone can ask a member of London Met’s Alumni any question.

Date: 23 November 2016

A new Q&A session will launch at London Met where anyone can ask an alumni of the University a question and get a real time answer.

The session will kick off on 9 December at 2pm at @LondonMetUni with alumna Samantha Mayers, a 2014 Journalism BA graduate. The session will last for one hour.

Sam is now working for the Daily Star running Wired, a daily showbiz column.

“The session will be beneficial as students will gain from seeing an example of someone who has landed their dream job,” said Sam.

“There's a big difference between the lecturers saying you can do it and seeing you can. I wasn't an above average student and I think that's important.”

The sessions will run on a weekly basis and each week a different alumni will sit in the hot seat.

To take part in the event, tweet your questions to @LondonMetUni with the hashtag #AskAlumni.
