Why study this course?
The CCNA Cyber Security Operations course prepares you for a career working with associate-level cyber security analysts within security operations centres (SOCs).
More about this course
Today's organisations are challenged with rapidly detecting cyber security breaches and effectively responding to security incidents. Teams of people in security operations centres (SOCs) keep a vigilant eye on security systems, protecting their organisations by responding to security threats. Our CCNA Cyber Security Operations course will prepare you to begin a career working with associate-level cyber security analysts within security operations centres.
Uncovering cybercrime, cyber espionage and other threats to the integrity of networks is an exciting new area that spans all industries. London Met is one of the few Cisco Networking Academies in the UK.
You'll also be joining a university that has a specialist Cyber Security Research Centre. The centre was established in 2018 and is already attracting funding from external organisations such as Lloyds Banking Group, which is partnering with London Met in research regarding threat intelligence modelling for predictive analytics. Technical support for the work of the Centre has been provided by big vendors of hardware and software equipment such as Cisco, Amazon, Oracle and Hortonworks.
