Adult Dependants' Grant

The Adult Dependants' Grant gives eligible students extra support if they have an adult who depends on them financially. Usually the adult dependant will be a member of your family, including your husband, wife, civil partner or partner. Grown up children can't be counted as adult dependants.

  • You must be a full-time UK* student.
  • The grant is income-assessed. Your dependant's net income must not exceed £3,796.

*Some EU/EEA students who meet EU Settlement Scheme and residency requirements may also be able to apply. Check out gov.uk for more information or email our Student Money and Accommodation Advice team at smaa@londonmet.ac.uk.
