Request

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to submit a Freedom of Information request about your university’s overseas spending in the last ten years.

Could you please tell me for the last 10 years if you have the data:

  1. Whether you have opened any campuses, branches or joint institutions overseas or within Europe?

    1. If so, please provide details of what, where and how much they have cost to set up.

    2. Can you please give a breakdown of these costs.

    3. Each year since then, how much surplus or deficit has each campus, branch or partnership has made. Please provide details broken down by year.

    4. What other benefits, ie non-financial, it brings your institution

    5. Have you closed any branches or campuses.

  1. Whether you explored opening any campuses or branches overseas or within Europe and decided not to proceed.

    1. If so, please provide details of what and where

    2. How much was spent on each project, and on what aspects - eg consultations - before deciding not to proceed.

    3. Why did you decide not to proceed and how long did it take to reach this conclusion?

  1. Do any of your agreements, partnerships, campuses or branches allow for students at the overseas institution do a year of their degree in this country? If so, how many came in the last academic year?

  1. Whether you have opened any campuses or branches within the UK, other than your main campus, and if so please provide details, including cost.

 Many thanks
