Number of students who signed NDAs

Request

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to request some information please.

  1. How many students, from 2015/2016 onwards, have signed a non-disclosure agreement with you with regards to a payment made by the university to the student? Can I have the figures for every academic year please.
  2. How much money has the university paid to the aforementioned students with regards to the NDA incident(s) only? Again, can I have the figures for every academic year please.
  3. If your NDAs do not contain a clause which makes them exempt from disclosing a figure under the FOI legislation, can I have the individual figures for each NDA please.
  4. If your NDAs do contain a clause which makes them exempt from disclosing a figure under the FOI legislation, can you send me evidence to support this please.

A non-disclosure agreement can be considered as such:

“A contract by which one or more parties – in this instance, the student - agree not to disclose information that they have shared with each other as a part of doing business together – in this instance, business can be defined as a payment from the university to the student.”

Kind regards,

Response
