To whom it may concern,
Under FOI law, please provide me with the following information about international (non-EU) students at your university. I'm requesting information for the past four complete academic years – covering the period 2014-15 to 2017-18.
 
1.1 In the past four academic years, how many international (non-EU) students were recorded as non-compliant with the university’s rules on attendance and/or engagement?

1.2 What is the penalty for non-compliance with the university’s rules on attendance and/or engagement?

2.1 In the past four academic years, how many international (non-EU) students were recorded as having breached the conditions of their Tier 4 status? (Please note, this covers any breach, not just attendance and engagement.)

2.2 In the past four academic years, how many international (non-EU) students were reported to the Home Office for breaching the conditions of their Tier 4 status?

Please provide an acknowledgement of this request and let me know if you require any clarification.

I write further to your request for information dated 16 April 2019.  This request has been handled by the University in accordance with its duties and obligations under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 ("FOIA"). 

You requested details of:

1.1 2014/15 – 3 students withdrawn for attendance non-compliance

      2015/16 – 5 students withdrawn for attendance non-compliance

      2016/17 – 1 student withdrawn for attendance non-compliance

       2017/18 - 1 student withdrawn for attendance non-compliance
