Rajjo joined the Board of Governors as a Student Governor and Trustee of the London Metropolitan University Students’ Union in 2025. He currently studies BA Management and Marketing as an undergraduate at London Met, having begun his degree in September 2023.
Rajjo is the elected President of the Students’ Union for the 2025–26 academic year. He is a passionate advocate for student rights, equity, diversity and inclusion, and has played a leading role in shaping student experience policy across the university. As a dedicated Student Voice Representative, he works closely with senior university leaders to ensure students’ perspectives are central to institutional decision-making.
He is actively involved in efforts to improve student retention and success, particularly among underrepresented groups, and collaborates with staff and stakeholders to create a more supportive and inclusive learning environment. Rajjo is also a prominent campaigner for the protection of the two-year Graduate Route visa for international students, advocating nationally to safeguard post-study opportunities.
In his roles as SU President, Trustee, and Student Governor, Rajjo contributes a student-led voice to strategic conversations around access, academic support, and student welfare. He is deeply committed to work that creates meaningful, long-lasting impact for others, and finds fulfilment in initiatives that reach and benefit large communities.
Rajjo’s passion for representation and policy change is driven by his belief in the power of education to transform lives. He aspires to continue making a difference through leadership, advocacy, and public engagement throughout and beyond his time at university.
