Widening participation at master's level

Request

Dear Information Compliance Officer, I’m currently researching the effect that the new Postgraduate Master’s loan has had on widening participation at UK universities. I’m requesting, under the Freedom of Information Act, data that might assist me in this research. If possible, please provide the following data for the years 2010/11 - 2018/19

  • The number of students in your taught masters cohort
  • The POLAR quintile data for each taught masters cohort - or if this isn’t available, any similar measure of disadvantage.
  • How many students undertaking taught masters are funded by the new Government Master’s loan for the years 16/17, 17/18 and 18/19.

If you have any queries or concerns, feel free to get in touch at this email address or by phone.

Thank you so much for your help, I am happy to share any of my findings.

Yours sincerely,
