Biography
Dr Mohammed Alaqad holds a BSc in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Construction Management. He has extensive professional experience as both a civil engineer and a construction manager. Throughout his career, Dr Alaqad has worked with various contractors, successfully overseeing the delivery of multiple building and infrastructure projects. In addition to his work with contractors, he has provided valuable expertise to client teams, particularly within the non-governmental organisation sector, where he has supervised medium- and large-scale projects.
Transitioning into academia, Dr Alaqad pursued a PhD in the Built Environment at the University of Brighton. He has since undertaken several academic roles, including demonstrator, lecturer, and researcher. These diverse roles have enabled him to further develop his expertise and make meaningful contributions to the field. Dr Alaqad’s combination of strong academic credentials and practical industry experience highlights his commitment to excellence and his dedication to advancing the fields of civil engineering and construction management.
