More than 30 emerging designer-makers will set up their stalls, launch their products, and share their talents across three markets.
Date: 1 December 2025
London Metropolitan University designers and makers are gearing up for this year's Makers Market, an annual event led by London Met's Enterprise team that gives students and graduates the chance to step into market trading.
This December, more than 30 emerging designer-makers will launch their products across three markets – two on campus and one at an established East London craft market.
When and Where
Our on-campus markets this year will take place between 12pm and 2pm:
- Monday 9 December - The Atrium, Aldgate campus
- Wednesday 11 December - The Rocket, Holloway campus
Students and graduates will also be selling on Saturday 13 December at Upmarket, an iconic craft market located inside the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. It's a perfect opportunity to discover unique Christmas gifts while supporting London Met's rising talent. Visitors at all 3 markets can expect an eclectic mix of original creations – from handmade jewellery and personalised clothing to greeting cards, illustration prints, psychedelic paintings, and much more!
Jon Everitt, London Met’s Student Enterprise Practitioner, says: “It’s great to see so many incredibly talented creatives showcasing and starting to sell their products at Makers Market this year. Having seen this opportunity run for over a decade, I am delighted that we can continue to give emerging talent such a vibrant platform to start sharing their craft and earning from their creativity.”
