15 year deal will create an international pathway collaboration that supports overseas students and global recruitment from September.

Date: 28 January 2026

London Metropolitan University has agreed a new exclusive 15-year partnership with Malvern International to support the growth and success of international students studying in London.

From September 2026, the partnership will see the creation of a new International Study Centre based at London Met’s Holloway campus. The centre will deliver undergraduate foundation and pre-master’s programmes, supporting international students to progress onto a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the University.

Through the partnership, Malvern International will provide international student recruitment and admissions support, alongside the delivery of pathway programmes, orientation and tailored student support. This will strengthen London Met’s international offer and ensure students are well prepared for study within the UK higher education system.

The agreement reflects London Met’s commitment to widening access to higher education, supporting student progression, and building sustainable international recruitment in a challenging global environment. The partnership includes review points every five years.

Professor Gary Davies, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Recruitment and Business Development) at London Metropolitan University, said: “This long-term partnership with Malvern International reflects our shared commitment to widening access to high-quality higher education and supporting international students to succeed. The International Study Centre will play an important role in preparing students for study in London, while reflecting our civic mission and values-led approach. We look forward to welcoming the first cohort to our Holloway campus and to working closely with Malvern International to support student progression and success.”

Richard Mace, Chief Executive Officer at Malvern International, said: “We are proud to partner with London Metropolitan University, which has been recognised for the value it adds to students and for the quality of its student support. We look forward to working together to enhance opportunities for international students and support their progression and success.”
