Hi. Welcome to London Metropolitan University’s YouTube channel. My name is Adel, and I'm currently studying Film and Television Production BA course. And today I'm going to be answering some most asked questions about studying at London Met. I hope this video helps you out. If you're thinking about studying here or in London in general.
Is the virtual open day worth attending?
Okay. So that was the first question. And yeah, I think absolutely the virtual open day is worth attending, because it provides some valuable insights into the University, courses and facilities.
What are the best parts about studying in London?
Good question. The best parts about studying in London? Clearly culture. Culture, diversity. Access to industry opportunities, and a vibrant city life.
Did you join societies or any activities and what are they like?
Okay, yes, I joined the Verve TV society. I'm one of the leaders. I'm one of the leaders of this society. And I remember when I joined it, I was really happy because I met a lot of very cool people. And we have a lot of activities inside our community, inside our society. So that's very cool. I really recommend it.
What was one of the biggest factors that made you decide on this course?
The biggest factor for choosing this course was the practical, because I think the practical is very important. Is more important than theory. And yeah, I think that, that was the biggest factor.
Does the school offer any help to students on finding part time work?
Yes. Yes. The school provides support in finding part time work through, through career services and job fairs. I remember that it’s like a website, careers, where you can find a job.
What is it like living in London as a student?
Living in London as a student is exciting. Yes, you have sales because you are a student, so it’s okay. Offering a blend of academic opportunities, of course. Culture, experience and the social events, because social events in university is the best thing. When you are a student, you are, have a lot of energy, but don't have money.
