22nd London Met Learning and Teaching Conference 2025

As the University embarks on an ambitious set of priorities to address student success in an increasingly complex world for its staff and students, the 22nd Learning and Teaching Conference 2025 brought together the university community to exchange practice over two days. Day one was held online only, while day two offered both online and in-person attendance.

The topics covered during the conference included:

Revolution and Evolution
Higher Education has been changing and developing due to factors such as AI, climate change, the cost of living, and other drivers.

Presentations that encapsulated this theme enabled colleagues to showcase how they had used their teaching and learning practices to face these challenges, including approaches that occurred outside the traditional classroom.

Innovations in Blended Learning
Individually and collectively, pedagogical understanding is constantly advancing through the use of technology.

Innovations in Blended Learning sessions highlighted examples of inclusive, innovative, and engaging teaching across both online and in-person spaces.

Closing Differential Gaps
Students face daily challenges that could affect their learning. Supporting their learning to close differential outcomes and deliver an inclusive curriculum underpinned by the ESJF remains key tenets of the University's work.

Collaboration in the Classroom and Beyond talks provided an opportunity to showcase the various ways staff collaborated with each other and with students, acting as catalysts for success.
