Our commitment to an inclusive, fair and supportive workplace

London Metropolitan University has launched its first integrated Culture Survey for staff as part of our evidence-led approach to building an inclusive, fair and supportive workplace.

The survey will run throughout December and explores staff experiences of working at London Met across a number of integrated themes:

  • Belonging and Inclusion
  • Gender Equality
  • Work–Life Balance
  • Bullying and Harassment
  • Career Development
  • Wellbeing

These themes bring together the core requirements from Athena SWAN, the Race Equality Charter, Stonewall Proud Employers, and Disability Confident, alongside areas specific to London Met. 

These insights will help us understand what it feels like to work at London Met, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and inform targeted action plans that support our strategic objectives. We look forward to sharing the findings and our next steps in early 2026.
