The high levels of student satisfaction at London Met were highlighted in the latest Complete University Guide, which were released yesterday.

The rankings saw the University place fifth in the country for student satisfaction, out of a total of 130 universities included, as a result of its excellent National Student Survey (NSS) scores.

A number of subjects saw significant success. The University’s Information Technology and Computer Science courses were ranked top in the country for student satisfaction, and Business and Management ranked third; while Biological Sciences ranked 9th for Graduate Prospects; and student satisfaction for Architecture courses ranked top in London.

Based in one of the world's most exciting capital cities, London Met is home to an inclusive community of inspiring and determined learners, teachers and innovative thinkers.

The University’s mission is to transform lives through the power of education, and it does that by welcoming students from all kinds of backgrounds and supporting them to achieve success.

With a strong focus on job prospects, all undergraduate students have the opportunity to take a work-based learning module and many courses are professionally accredited.

Conor Murray-Gauld, Student Engagement Manager said, “We’re so delighted and proud that London Met has scored so highly for student satisfaction.

“We get these results by putting students first, having meaningful conversations with students, and empowering our staff to take a student-centred approach every day.

“A huge thank you to all the staff who made this happen - your work is making a real difference to the lives of all of our students.”
