Research interests:
Studio-based sculptural practice using bronze and English hard-woods; themes derived from European metaphysical still-life painting, conveyed via geometrical form and construction, often in reduced scale; Japanese aesthetic values (i.e wabi-sabi) and artefacts within the cross-cultural in relation to contemporary comparative Euro-Asian thought, product and process.
