Undergraduate September 2010

We have hundreds of undergraduate courses to choose from including Bachelor degrees (BA, BSc, BEng, LLB etc), HNC/HND and Foundation degrees and extended degrees.

Apply

If you are applying for a foundation degree, HND or undergraduate degree (eg BA, BSc, BEng, LLB) starting in September 2010, your should apply through UCAS.

The UCAS code for London Metropolitan University is LONMT L68.

PGCE Courses

Applications for PGCE courses (taught at the London North campus) should be made through the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR).

You can apply:

  • online at www.gttr.ac.uk
  • phone 0870 112 22 05 for a paper application form
  • write to GTTR, Rosehill, New Barn Lane, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL52 3LZ.

Once we have received your application from the GTTR it will be considered by an admissions tutor. If your application is successful at this stage you will be called for an interview. You will be given advanced warning of the interview and details of what will be involved. You will be notified of the outcome via the GTTR. Successful applicants who accept our offer will be sent details about enrolment and induction during the summer prior to your admission.

MSc Social Work

For the full-time MSc or Diploma in Social Work you should apply through UCAS:

HNC/HND courses

We offer of range of these courses which are designed to teach and knowledge and skills required for employment. Many of our students progress onto degree programmes from these courses.

Preparatory programmes

These are one or two semester courses at the University which guarantee you a place on the first year of a degree or diploma at the University, if you complete them successfully. They are designed to help you if you do not have the formal qualifications for entry to an undergraduate degree, but do have the ability to succeed.

Access courses

If you are 21 or older (a mature student), Access courses offer a programme of relevant subject knowledge and subject skills as preparation for entry to an HND or undergraduate degree course. Access courses are offered directly by the University and by partner colleges. Some mature students feel confident about directly joining a degree course, whilst others prefer to take an Access course first.
