France

Over 450 French nationals enroll on courses at the University each year - at International Foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. London Met has always been a popular destination for French students, some already resident in London, some coming from France specifically to join a course, others undertaking study placements within the Erasmus Programme. The Univesity has long-standing relationships with a number of French universities.

For Entry to International Foundation Programme

Students would be considered with a Baccalauréat with an overall score of ‘10’  provided that they meet the standard English Language requirements or students with a Brevet d’Etudes Professionnelles (BEP)

For Entry to Bachelors/Undergraduate courses

Students who have one of the following would be accepted:

Baccalaureat with an overall score of 11 (out of 20) or above

Brevet de Technicien (BT) with an overall grade of ‘11’ or above

Brevet Professionnel (BP) with an overall grade of ‘11’ or above

Diplome d’Etat de Technicien with an overall grade of ‘12’ or above

Advanced entry to Bachelors:

Second Year entry with BTS with high grades and relevant subjects

Second Year entry with Brevet d’Etudes Professionelles (BEP) with high grades (at least assez bien)  and relevant subjects

Second Year entry with Diplome Universitaires de Technologie (DUT) with high grades (at least assez bien) and relevant subjects

Third Year entry with Diplome d’Etudes Universitaires Generales (DEUG) with high grades (at least assez bien) and relevant subjects

For Entry to Masters/Postgraduate courses

Students would be accepted with an average minimum grade of ‘assez bien’ (13/20 or above) in one of the following examinations:

Licence, Diplome from an Ecole Superieure de Commerce/Gestion, Diplome d’Ingenieur, Bachelor, Maitrise

For the MBA, students also need three years of work experience at managerial level with a minimum IELTS of 6.5 or TOEFL IBT overall 91+
(reading = 21, listening = 22, speaking = 23, writing = 21)

English Language Entry requirements

International Foundation Programme

IELTS 4.5 overall with at least 4.5 in all individual scores

Undergraduate

IELTS 5.5 overall with at least 5.5 in all individual scores

TOEFL iBT 87+ (min). (Listening = 22, Reading = 21, Writing = 21, Speaking = 23)

Postgraduate

IELTS 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in all individual scores

TOEFL iBT 87+ (min). (Listening = 22, Reading = 21, Writing = 21, Speaking = 23)
