For Entry to International Foundation Programme
The International Foundation Programme is suitable for students who have an Apolyterion with grade 14 or above from a lyceum or from an equivalent approved private school or Lise Diplomasi with grade 5 or above. The programme provides a year of academic study and English preparation. Upon successful completion students can progress to undergraduate study.

For Entry to Bachelors/Undergraduate courses
A Bachelors degree is normally three years long and is suitable for students who have Apolyerion grade  17 or above or A levels or Lise Diplomasi with a grade 7 or above.

NB: Students taking Apolyterion and one A level: 16+ in Apolyterionand grade C in A level in relevant area. Students taking Apolyterion and two A levels: 15.5 in Apolyterion and 2 Cs in A levels in relevant areas. Students from certain UK Curriculum schools have an Apolyterion based on percentage scores: entry requirement is 70%. Students from UK Curriculum schools will need relevant A level grades, as listed in the prospectus.

For Advanced Entry to Year Two of Bachelors/Undergraduate courses
Students with an associate degree from European University-Cyprus, University of Nicosia, Frederick University, College of Tourism and Hotel Management and American College can join year two of a degree as long as subjects match and their GPA is above 2.75.

For Entry to Masters/Postgraduate courses
To enter a Masters course you will be expected to have completed a Ptychion of 6 points or more from University of Cyprus or GPA of 2.75 or more in a four-year degree programme from any other university or recognised college. For Northern Cyprus, a Lisans Diplomasi/ Bachelors with GPA 2.75 or above is required.

For the MBA, students also need three years of work experience at managerial level with a minimum IELTS of 6.5 or TOEFL IBT overall 91+
(reading = 21, listening = 22, speaking = 23, writing = 21)

English Language Entry requirements

Students with IGCSE grade C or above or O level with C or above in English will not need further English language requirements.

International Foundation Programme

IELTS 4.5 overall with at least 4.0 in all individual scores

or

IELTS 5.0 with no minimum individual score requirement

TOEFL iBT 57+ with a minimum of 13 in listening, 8 in reading, 17 in writing and 19 in speaking

Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) Grade C

Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) Grade D

Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) Grade E

Undergraduate

IELTS 5.5 overall with at least 5.5 in all individual scores

or

IELTS 6.0 with no minimum individual score requirement

TOEFL iBT 72+ with a minimum of 15 in listening and reading, 17 in writing and 19 in speaking

Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) Grade B

Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) Grade C

Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) Grade D

Postgraduate

IELTS 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in all individual scores

or

IELTS 6.5 with no minimum individual score requirement

TOEFL iBT 80+ with a minimum of 18 in listening, reading and writing and 19 in speaking

Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) Not suitable

Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) Grade B

Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) Grade B

Courses with higher English requirement

IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in all individual scores

or

IELTS 7.0 with no minimum individual score requirement

TOEFL iBT 91+ with a minimum of 21 in each component

Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) Not suitable

Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) Grade B

Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) Grade C
