London Metropolitan University welcomes applications from Belgian students. The University is proud of the fact that one of its oldest European partners is the Haute Ecole Leonard da Vinci (formerly the Institut Libre Marie Haps) in Brussels; the two institutions have worked together since the inception of ERASMUS in 1988 and currently offer a Masters degree in Applied Translation.
For Entry to International Foundation Programme
The International Foundation Programme is a one year course and is suitable for students who have a school leaving certificate and IELTS 4.5 (or equivalent). The programme provides a year of academic study and English preparation. Upon successful completion students can progress to undergraduate study.
For Entry to Bachelors/Undergraduate courses
To be considered for a place on an undergraduate course, you will need to have a minimum grade 12 or 60% with ‘mention’ in Certificat d''Enseignement Secondaire/ Diploma Secundair Onderwijs/ Abschlusszeugnis der Oberstufe des Sekundarunterricts. For courses in architecture and interior design, you will also be asked to submit a portfolio for approval.
For Entry to Masters/Postgraduate courses
To be considered for a place on a Masters or Postgraduate Certificate course, you are required to complete the second cycle or Licencie/ Licentiaat degree / Bachelors (since 2004) with 70% or above.
For the MBA, students also need three years of work experience at managerial level with a minimum IELTS of 6.5 or TOEFL IBT overall 91+
(reading = 21, listening = 22, speaking = 23, writing = 21)
