Patricia Alexander

Patricia is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at the School of Social Sciences and Professions.

Patricia holds a BSC and Certificate of Qualification in Social Work, she is also a registered social worker with Social Work England (SWE). She holds a level 2 Award in Practice Teaching. Additionally, Patricia possess a MA which was gained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust, this is in Safeguarding, Risk and Relational Practice in Social work and Integrated care.
 
Patricia is the Course Lead for the Step Up To Social Work PG Diploma.
Patricia's teaching interests are anti-racist social work practice, social work theory and practice, readiness for practice social work, development across the life span and practice education.
